升级 linux bsp from 3.0.35 to 3.14.52

okmx6q 开发板和 fsl 的 sabre SD 非常相似，并且 android 4.4.2 应该是 3.10.53 的 bsp。
飞凌是否有计划将 linux 升级到 3.14.52呢？这是 fsl 目前最新的 bsp。

目前我自己在做升级， uboot 已经完成， kernel 的 emmc / audio / touch / display / uart-debug 已经好用。
rootfs 使用的是 fsl yocto 的 fsl-image-qt5 , QT( 5.5.4 )。

如果飞凌没有升级计划的话，我可以将相关修改提供出来，你们 review 以后再提供官方版本，如何？

fsl sabresd 默认的配置就能将大部分硬件驱动起来。附件是我的 patch，针对 imx_3.14.52_1.1.0_ga 版本的。基本可以运行，但不够稳定。谁发现问题就请回帖。

安卓升级linux内核，工作量大，linux只是底层基础，安卓上层的东西需要改的东西还比较多，这个工作量还是挺大的。

yocto 3.14.x 有 device tree 的支持，和 3.0.35 不一样。你可以用我之前的 kernel patch 以及 uboot patch 单独生成 uboot 镜像和 kernel 镜像。这个虽然不够稳定，但是可以boot起来。

我就是想知道yocto 3.14.x 生成的uboot如何更新到开发板上去，我现在用的还是那个2009的uboot，一直都是采取把dtb放到内核后面的方法。更新新uboot一直失败

我也就是自己玩玩而已，谈不上什么高见。一般情况下，kernel 和 rootfs 都是直接从 SDK 的 sysroot 里面直接挂载了。有时候需要实验性能的时候才会烧写到 emmc 里面。emmc 就 2个分区，一个 rootfs， ro 的。另外一个rw ，但是还没有使用过。

用 2009 的 uboot 挂载 nfs 的 rootfs ，系统启动以后，直接将 rootfs 中新的 uboot dd 到 mmcblk0root0 里面 seek=2 就行。或者永 mfg 也是可以烧写的。
